Griffin had so much fun at Cub Scout Camp with his friends! They crafted a constilation luminary, did some fishing, archery and target shooting.

Mommy, May I Have Nutella?
Griffin: Mommy, where is the Nutella
Me: You are not going to eat just Nutella
Griffin: Why Not?
Me: Because it's not healthy to do that
Griffin: Well, I'll have a banana
Me: Okay
Griffin: I mean I'll have a banana with my Nutella so it will be healthy
{he gave that one some thought!}

Sunshine Tags ~ End Of Year Party!
My friend Heather asked me to make two versions of my Custom Sunshine Tags
She wanted larger tags to attach to sand pail gifts for her daughter's end of year party. She also wanted smaller tags to attach to popsicles to share with her bus students (she is a school bus driver)
I think they turned out bold, bright and pretty!

A Gift From Griffin - An Owl Necklace
Look what my sweet boy wanted to get me today ~ isn't it pretty? I'm not much of a necklace person but he saw this in Kohl's and insisted on getting it for me. He said "cuz Momma you love owls". He's right, I do. It reminds me of something my Momma would wear from the 70's. I love my sweet, thoughtful little guy.

Nicarauga Mission Trip
Beautiful words penned by my friend Jen:
What an overwhelming service this morning! Here are some pics from the commissioning of our mission team headed for Leon, Nicaragua early tomorrow morning. They have been bathed in prayer and we as a church are honored to have been a part of the work they are going to do. Can't wait to hear what God does!!

It was great fun creating this bright, rainbow colored set of party elements
I created a custom banner using rainbow colors of paper and tulle, popcorn box inspired treat boxes and custom confetti!

Bold Happy Birthday Banner ~ School Auction
A friend from a neighboring school called me about adding one of my banners to a Birthday Themed basket the PTA was auctioning off at her daughter's school. She wanted something simple, yet bold
This is what I came up with a very large HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner. I love being part of this event and I am so glad to have been asked to participate.

Easter Festival At Our Church
Our church celebrated Easter with a festival for the children this year.
The festival focused on the seven days of creation.
I made a banner for each day so the children would know where to go by following a map to each labeled table
I also created toppers for the cupcakes!
We had a great day celebrating Jesus' resurrection!

Kaitlyn's Gift ~ Mini Banner Name
I've been making full sized banners for birthday parties and other celebrations. My son's best friend Kaitlyn celebrated her birthday this past weekend and I decided to create a tiny name banner to embellish her gift bag.
Once her party was over she can easily remove the mini name banner from her gift bag and use it as a bedroom decoration!

Pretty Packages ~ On A Budget
You can make pretty packages on a budget. Everything you see here I found at Dollar Tree. I love the pink owl lollipop ~ they match the little tag I made perfectly! And they were six lollipops for a dollar!
This is a little Valetine's Day gift for Griffin's teacher. Inside is a pink plastic insulated drinking cup with lid and straw filled with Hershey Kisses

Sweet Valentine Treats For Sweet Friends
Griffin will share these sweet Valentine's treat with his friends in his Awana class at church tonight.
The top treats will be shared with the smallest children. I found these cute pink owl lollipops at Dollar Tree. I added a bit of candy in a clear plastic bag and attached a matching customized tag.
The treats on the bottom will be shared with the older kids in his Awana class. I also added a bit of candy to these sweet owl bags (again a Dollar Tree find) and I made a more boyish owl tag to attach to these
I hope the kids enjoy them!

Griffin's Class Valentines
When I was at Sam's the other day I happened across these super cute bubble gum treat tubes. They were only $9.99 for 24 of them. What a deal!! I decided I would use these for Griffin's valentines to share with his classmates. He's all about anything related to Star Wars right now and decided he wanted Angry Birds Star Wars valentines.
I made a little tag and hot glued it to the bright tag already on the bubble gum tubes.
I can't believe how quick and easy it was to make these tonight!!

Griffin's Birthday Party ~ Lego Star Wars
My son Griffin turned 8 and he wanted a Lego Star Wars Themed Birthday Party. I had a BLAST making all of the decorations for his party!
I made a custom banner, cupcake toppers, confetti, goody bags and signage for goodies
I was at Walmart and saw these bubble wands ~ instantly I thought they looked like light sabers ~ they were the hit of the party!

Becky & Elizabeth's Birthday ~ Cupcakes!
I have been blessed with two very special girlfriends.
Becky & Elizabeth are mother & daughter and they share a birthday only one day apart.
We were invited down to their house so I decided to take cupcakes.
I decided to go with the hot pink and zebra print because I wanted them to be girly.
It worked out perfectly because the mini cupcakes were chocolate with a pink & white swirl icing.
I love making things and sharing them with friends!

Where Is The Millinium Falcon?
I just came downstairs and I noticed quite a few Legos on the living room floor. They looked familiar, but oh could it really be? He.Took.His.Millineum.Falcon.Apart. I couldn't believe it. He knows he was supposed to leave it together. I asked him why he took it apart and he said "Well, Mommy you know Legos have a life cycle. First you put the kit together, you keep it together and let it sit for a few months, and then you take it apart and make something else. Mommy, everything has a life cycle." I guess I can't argue with his reasoning. I'm letting it goooooo ... just breathe.
Griffin's Last Day of 2nd Grade
