3-D Pen Art

Looking through Instagram the other day, I became aware of 3D pens.  I knew it was something Griffin would likely enjoy, so Mike researched and ordered one.  Griffin tried it out for the first time tonight and it's really cool!  You can make so many things with it!!  We've been watching 3D design videos tonight and I'm excited about what he will make!

Looks Like Our Family

 Ummmmmm ~ this looks like our family!!  Dad's cooking over an open flame, Griffin's catching critters and Mama's taking pictures of it all! 😂

Art Class

Griffin began sketching faces in art history class today. He's taking art classes at Grove Avenue Baptist Church.

Addition Construction

 Mike and Griffin have been working on the addition.  It makes me happy as I watch Mike teaching Griffin carpentry and electrical skills.

They Grow Up Too Fast

I've literally kept every single preschool, public school, Sunday School and VBS paper, art work and project Griffin has ever done. Today we are cleaning and I'm deciding what to keep and what to get rid of. I want to keep it all. This is so hard for me!! BTW - these are all in the keep pile. ♥️ #theygrowuptoofast

Making Slime

Fun day with friends! We made slime ~ I can't believe we've never made slime before!! We also made plastic and they worked on a few circuit and wiring projects. Talking about the changes and chemical reactions that occur when making slime and plastic was interesting. Learning is so much fun!!

What a sweet surprise! Last night Mike came home from work bearing hydrangeas and pink roses. He knows I am not a 'red rose' kinda girl ~ he chose well.

Chickens & Blueberries

The blueberry juice dripping from Hyacinthe's beak is a good indication our girls are enjoying their late afternoon snack.

Chores

We've been working on projects around the house. This rainy day was a good time for us all to work together in the garage.

Teamwork

Happy 13th Birthday Griffin

Thirteen years ago this sweet baby was born and I became a Mommy. Griffin is kind, smart, funny, talented, handsome, loving and one of the best people I know. I am forever grateful that God chose me to be the mother of this incredible young man.

Griffin's 13th Birthday

We celebrated Griffin's 13th birthday today! Though the rain changed our original plans, we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day surrounded by family and friends. (His actual birthday is on the 7th, we celebrated a few days early).
