Watching my son achieve something today, that he so desperately wanted, was inspiring. I will honestly say I was somewhere between hoping he would miss and hoping he would triumph. Triumph he did! He tried and tried throwing those little balls in the vases and I watched the vendor (Curtis) discreetly putting extra balls in his bucket. Seeing the sweet look of accomplishment and great big smile on his face was worth the fear I faced bringing this little lady home. Her name is JalapeƱo and she's now part of our family. I didn't know much about iguanas ~ but, I have learned they can reach 4 feet long. FOUR FEET!
Suddenly, I am headed home with a six pack of Coke and a Jalapeno!
