A Great Idea.

I was over reading my friend Wendy's Blog and she shared a link to a really fun & creative way to celebrate one's birthday.

The link she shared is to Mix Mingle Glow. Robyn decided to celebrate her 38th birthday in a unique way by doing a random act of kindness equal to the number of candles on her birthday cake.

It's inspiring and fun. I sooooo wanna do this. I need my SIL Bonnie to come in September to help me accomplish this on my 43rd birthday. Hint, Hint ... Bonnie are you coming? =)

Please check out
THIS LINK.

I promise you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for sharing Missy. After a certain age, gifts are not important to us, but to be able to share your birthday by doing great things for others I just thought was so terrific that i just had to share with all my bloggy friends!

Happy Wednesday!

This was amazing Missy! Thanks so much for sharing it! Be sure to let us all know when your birthday is so we can participate with you! I wonder if I could do this? Could my old brain even think of 54 RAOK's? We will be traveling/camping in our RV that day....hmmmm...pass out S'mores to kids. I think I will just try to do 54 between now and then (June) and keep track. It will be fun to keep my eyes open to the opportunities God prepares for me!

I haven't gone to the link yet but I'm going as soon as I leave this comment. You know I would LOVE to be there for your 43rd. That gives me 10 years to save up right? I will do my best to get there. Now I'm off to read this link.

Okay I read the link and what an amazing thing to do. I'm thinking maybe for my anniversary I might talk your brother into doing something like that.

Thanks for the shout out and the link to my post! I am honored and humbled by the amount of feedback I continue to get about that day and wish I could do it EVERY day! :) For the record, although we DID do all 38 in one day, it was a looooong day and we were exhausted by the end of it. Not that you asked, but do as much brainstorming, shopping and prep work as possible in advance so you'll be able to make the most of your time. I joked that I should have thought of that when I was 20...it would have been MUCH easier! :)
Best wishes on your own Random Act of Kindness birthday...I'd love to hear about how it goes! :)
