Mike's Trip To Taiwan.

I mentioned yesterday Mike returned home from a two week business trip to Taiwan.

He enjoyed the trip ... he met some really nice people and enjoyed aspects of a culture he's never experienced before.

He took a few pictures and I thought I would share them.

The one day he had off he was invited to take a bike ride with his new friends on the coast. It was a 20 mile bike ride ya'll. I would never have been able to do that!

Look Andi ... there really is something called "the rainbow bridge" ... LOL ... this rainbow bridge is part of the cycling path.

A picture of the coast ...

The big city view from his hotel window ...

Another view from his hotel window.

I'm so happy Mike had the opportunity to take this trip. We certainly missed him while he was gone ... and SO happy now that he's home.

It's time for some serious family time this weekend.

Enjoy yourselves ... we are going to.

I am glad Mike got home safe. I wish I was getting to see you next week. Maybe you could come by the SDV on the following weekend? Keep that in mind.

There really is a rainbow bridge!

I know you're happy to have Mike back home. A 20 mile bike ride...I think not for me...unless the bike had a tractor seat. I can't imagine sitting on one of those little bike seats for 20 long miles!

compliments of the Army I spent some time on Okinawa, and was fortunenate enough to get invited into one of the local residents home for a dinner----I have a lot of respect for the hardworking people of Okinawa and Japan. I like their culture alot.

oh and as for the 20 mile bike ride, OH HELL NO! Maybe that's why the Asian population is thin vs. the Americans, LOL
