Let It Snow.

We had a light overnight snow Monday night and we woke up to a beautiful white winter wonderland.

The roads were clear ... so it was not a "Snow Day" from school. I promised Griffin after school we could go outside and play in the snow. After lunch we bundled up and headed outside ...

First up ... a snowball fight!

Then he was off to discover more "snowy" adventures ...

He asked to build a snowman ... so we did!!

Here he's putting the finishing touches on the snowman's face.

Though it may be small ... I think we made a pretty cute snowman ... perhaps we should call it a snow angel instead.

I asked Griffin to stand behind his snowman so I could get a picture to show Daddy ... of course he had to demonstrate a little bit of silly before the real picture.

And here he is posing proudly with his sweet little snowman.

I love this kind of day ... spending time with our son and doing fun things together ... these are the BEST moments of our lives!!

thats the cutest lil snowman i ever did see!!!! we had a nice day yesterday, my youngest and i - she had early dismissal... we spent the afternoon watching gilmore girls and reading wuthering heights... it's hard to dislike snow too much when you get unexpected days like that, isnt it?

Wow, from wiggly worms one day to snowmen the next. Who could ask for more. I love the little snowman angel. And the little snowboy angel who made it.

I am glad somebody got some snow because our weather "people" keep telling us we are going to get multiple inches and we never do. They really had us excited yesterday, my boss even came around reminding us of snow day policies and such. I woke this morning at 5am to a screaming baby, hoping I could get him fed and put back down to sleep the rest of the morning and not have to work. Charlie opened the door and said, "it hasn't snowed at all"...poor me :o(

I wish we would get some snow...we just had a dusting the other night, not nearly enough to make a grand snowman like Griffin's!
