{Nurture} ~ My Word Of The Year.

Each year Ali Edwards encourages her readers to choose a word to represent their goal for the coming year. She calls it "one little word".

At the end of last year I thought long and hard about the word I would like to be my main focus for 2009 ... and this is what I decided on:

Imagine my surprise when I visited
Ali's Blog and saw she had chosen the same word. I *promise* I had no idea!

So ... with that in mind ... my focus this year will be to:

Nurture My Family
Nurture My Friendships
Nurture My Life
Nurture Myself
Nurture My Little Business

In 2009 I would like to see my little business
www.missymadeit.com grow.

I'm very excited to start the new year off with fresh ideas, creative mojo and the energy to make it happen.

With that in mind ... I would like to get your opinions about a couple of things.

While I sharing my new paper piecings here on my blog ... I want to make sure it's something my visitors would like me to do. So, I would like to ask you to answer these questions (honestly please) to help me make some decisions.

Question 1 ~ When do you visit eBay most often? I'm an early morning riser and really it works best for me to list my items then. But that also means they end early in the morning too. Do most of you "eBay" at night or during the day time? Should I list my items early in the morning, later at night, or do you think it really doesn't matter?

Question 2 ~ Do you like it when I post my new paper piecings here on my blog?

Question 3 ~ If you do like me to post them on my blog, do you prefer

A smaller size picture:

Or a larger size picture:

Question 4 ~ Would you like me to keep the "Look What I Currently Have On eBay" Gadget at the top (in the middle of the page) of my blog? The pictures up there will always be the smaller size.

So ... I've asked the questions, and I would like your honest opinions about them.

And hey ... since I'm telling you about my little business ... I'd like to invite you to stop by to see what I've recently listed. You can see my new items by
CLICKING HERE.

And one more thing ... are you aware that I have a newsletter? If you would like to be notified via email when I have new paper piecings and give-a-ways, please click
HERE to join my newsletter.

I hope you all have a GREAT Friday ...

Okay here goes.....

1. I visit Ebay at various times. I don't think it matters what time they close. If people want them they will bid.
2. I love it when you post about new pieicings just because I don't always make it to Ebay.
3. I like the bigger size pic but I can always go to Ebay to see the bigger picture.
4. I do like the pics at the top of your blog...like I sai in 3. we can always go to Ebay to see bigger pics if necessary.

Now I think Nurture is a word that perfectly suits you. You have always been a nurturing person, whether you have realized it or not.

Keep up the creativeness...I am loving all your new stuff and I'm gonna go broke bidding on it, lol.

I like the big photos best and like to see them on this blog. I don't use ebay very much and don't like to bid on things (I like the buy it now ones), but I don't shop on ebay much. Nurture is a good word for the year! LOVE the Owl you made...have you seen all the cute V-day owl stuff at Target?

I don't remember all of your questions so hopefully I answer all of them. I love the pictures that you put on here of your piecings and the big pics are fine easier to see them. As for ebay, I also sell on ebay and I have mine end at night. I have tried different times throughout the day and have had more luck at night between 9 and 11 pm. I sell childrens and womens clothes so not the same as what you sell. I would try the different times and see what happens.

You should just leave your blog exactly the way it is. I come here to see what is going on in your family and what new things you have created.

I would definitely post your items on ebay late at night, remember west coast buyers are on alot at night - 3 hrs behind East coast. I find alot of my buyers are on in evenings vs. mornings (due to work schedules). I like to start posting things on ebay about 9pm East coast time. Just an idea! hope it helps.

Question 1 ~ I EBAY ON THE WEEKENDS.. I DO NOT SEEM TO GO THERE AS MUCH AS I USED TO.. I THINK YOU USED TO FIND MUCH BETTER DEALS THEN YOU DO NOW. THATS JUST MY THOUGHT....

♥ Question 2 ~ Do you like it when I post my new paper piecings here on my blog? YES I DO .. OTHER WISE I MIGHT NOT SEE IT.. AS I DONT GO TO EBAY AS MUCH. IF YOU POST IT AND I WANT TO SEE IT THEN I WILL GO CHECK IT OUT..

♥ Question 3 ~ If you do like me to post them on my blog, do you prefer
A smaller size picture:
Or a larger size picture:
EITHER ONE IS GOOD.. I AM OLDER SO MAYBE THE BIGGER ONE IS GOOD...THAT WAY I CAN SEE IT.. HEHE..

♥ Question 4 ~ Would you like me to keep the "Look What I Currently Have On eBay" Gadget at the top (in the middle of the page) of my blog? The pictures up there will always be the smaller size.

SURE THEN IF I WANT TO GO AND LOOK IT IS RIGHT THERE I CAN CLICK ON IT AND GO AND SEE WHAT YOU HAVE LISTED..

HOPE THAT HELPS..

Hi Missy! I love my little Owl...it arrived today!

As for your questions...my answers would be the very same as Bonnie's, your sweet SIL. I too visit eBay at various times but don't like to stay up too late waiting for an auction to end. I actually do more eBaying on the weekend. And I like bigger pictures because I'm old and don't see as well as I used to...yikes!

Keep posting your cute things here but mostly I like to see pictures and read Griffin stories!

You're a very nurturing person so Nurture is the perfect word for you!

I can't help you much with this, b/c I don't do much with ebay. But I do love seeing what you have done on your blog.
