Rant.

Can I just say that my AOL Dial-Up Internet connection is the PITS.

We have no high speed internet options way out here in the country ... well ... we do have ONE option ... Hughes Net Satellite ... but it costs too much.

Arrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

That was the first thing I told m husband we had to have if I was going to run a business from home.

It's a nice right off for taxes.

I feel your pain...we only have two options - dialup or expensive cable internet. I bit the bullet and cut costs on another bill to get the cable. =(

Oh that bites the big one!
Maybe you outta inquire about that high speed, ;o)

I used to have dial up as well Missy and would get pretty frustrated WAITING!!! When we built this house I said I was getting the cable and have been so happy with that decision ever since!

It is frustrating I know...we finally have high speed and it shocked me about how slow dial up really was. Rant all you want...we will listen!! You do have the sweet country sounds though...trade off? Okay, so I am being philosphical and goofy. Hush up Sue!!

Hugs and love,
Sue

I feel your pain...and it's really a BIG pain not to have DSL or high speed cable. We had DSL thru Bell South and it was slowwwww...really didn't see any dif than dial up.
Now we have cable and it's quite a bit better.

I saw a commercial for them on tv last night, it's satellite for areas like yours without DSL or high speed, they are offering a hundred dollar rebate on new customers.

We had dial-up years ago, and I didn't realize how slow it was until we got cable internet. It was such a difference. So I know how you feel! :(
