Fire Station Field Trip

Today the "Mommy & Me Play Group" had the pleasure of taking a field trip to the local Fire Station. We have Miss Sandy to thank for setting this fun outing up.

It really is a joy to be a WAHM (work at home mom) and have the ability to take Griffin to these kinds of field trips and events.

Griffin enjoyed checking out the humongous wheels on all of the trucks

He also enjoyed sitting in the ladder truck

Yippee ... we are jumping for joy ... we had such a GREAT time!

Looks like our little G had a great time! I remember taking my Cub Scout troop to the fire station years ago.. they loved it. Little G is so cute in your pictures... I just want to grab him and pinch his rosey cheeks. lol

How sweet is that precious little guy!
My father was a fire fighter for almost 30 years. I was always so proud of his job and thought it so exciting. I love to see how much little ones love fire fighters and their equipment. I taught pre school for a long tome and a trips to the fire station was always a huge hit!
Please give G a hug from me...he is just a doll Missy...
Love,
Sue

Looks like he had a great time! I still remember the first time my son saw a fire truck up close. They get so fascinated, don't they?! Sometimes at our annual block party, we can request a fire truck to come, and it's always a big hit with the kids. Those pictures are wonderful!
