Four Chicks & A Dude

Four chicks and a dude! I'm so happy!! Our girls FINALLY ate pumpkin today! We've offered them various fruits/vegetables since summer and this is the first time they have taken to it.

Work Day At Home

It's a work day at our house ~ we are thankful sweet friends shared seasoned logs with us to help keep us warm this winter. When my boys are working outside, I always pray for their protection. It looks like they had a dome of protection covering them today.

Dad's Leather Jacket

Tonight, Mike let Griffin wear his vintage leather jacket. He's had that jacket for as long as I can remember. In a little less than 2 months (59 days), this guy will be a teenager. I just want to stop time, right here!

First Snowfall Of Season

Enjoyed the first snow fall of the season with my boys. We found the snow ball maker at AC Moore. Definitely worth five bucks!

Art History Class

Art History class today ~ Griffin made a name sculptor inspired by the artist Frank Stella. He designed each letter with paper and markers, cut them out and then placed them on the page to spell his name in an artistic way. The detail is wonderful! I'm loving that dude he drew hanging off the letter N.

When we were at Hobby Lobby the other day Griffin came back with these two Christmas ornaments in his cart. I think he knows his mama very well.

A combination of a delicious dinner, first fire of the season, Christmas tree decorating, reminiscing about beloved ornaments, and 'chocolate thing' for dessert, made for a terrific evening.

I mentioned to Griffin, and his friend Christian, I wanted to get the Christmas stuff down from the attic. Imagine my surprise when I walked upstairs to get started, and I walked into this! They took it upon themselves to get everything down all by themselves! Such awesome young men!!
