OBX Vacation - Hatteras Inlet

Our OBX vacation continues with a beach day at Hatteras Inlet. Fishing was good and swimming was COLD! We had such a good time!

OBX Vacation - Pier Fishing - Avon Fishing Pier

We went pier fishing on the Avon Fishing Pier. It was FREEZING cold! Griffin got tired of being on the pier, so he decided to join our friends on the beach. He was instructed NOT to get in the water because it was so cold. Well, he ended up swimming in the freezing cold ocean!

OBX Vacation - Swimming & A Beautiful Sunset

This is the second year our family has been blessed to vacation in the Outerbanks of North Carolina. We are camping with two other families at Frisco Woods Campground on the sound. It is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful here! Griffin LOVES swimming in the ocean. He is fearless - swimming in the ocean when it is 55 degrees out and the wind is blowing about 25 mph. Tonight we enjoyed this beautiful sunset. Other than seeing Mike and Griffin enjoying what they love most (fishing and swimming in the ocean) ~ the sunsets are my favorite part!

We just arrived in the Outerbanks of North Carolina for a week long stay. We are camping at a favorite campground with two other families. What's the first thing Griffin does? He decides to read and take a break right by the water.

We are on vacation with two other families in the Outerbanks of North Carolina. We are camping in a beautiful campground on the sound. One of my favorite things to do is watch the sunset in the evening. God paints the most beautiful colors for us to view.
