My brother is in the hospital as he has chemotherapy administered. I'm thankful for the time I've been able to spend with him and the rest of my family over the past few days.

The Hurricane That Took Down THE Tree.
Hurricane Irma was an unpleasant visitor here in September. She caused quite a bit of damage when she took this tree down and landed it on my in-laws home. After several dump truck loads of tree were taken away, this is all that's left of the tree that came down and caused so much damage. You know what? I love this picture. What I see here, is the strength and grace that embodies my mother-in-law. It was a difficult time - and they are still working on repairs, she and Tony handled this situation so well together. Today, I was reminded we have a family with many different branches in our family tree and I am grateful for every single one of them.

RMBC Youth Service Project
It was a privilege spending the day with these truly wonderful young people. They each have a genuine heart to serve God. They do so with a smile on their face and joy in their hearts. As Papa Bear has said, all Glory goes to God and we get the joy! Thankful for opportunities to serve and glorify our Creator.

It's Been A Good Day ...
We had the best day together. I pray that days like today will live in his memory forever. When he has children of his own, I pray that he will have days like this with his own children.

Camp Willow Run - Youth Camp
Griffin went on his first youth retreat this weekend to Camp Willow Run, in North Carolina. It's the first time he's been on a trip like this without one of us with him. Mike and I are very encouraged by his walk with Jesus and we are incredibly proud of the young man he has become. The second picture is from when they returned home. I think it's a very good indication he had a great time!

Sunrise
The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:8
