OBX 2016 - Ghost Crabbing At Night
Our last night at the beach was fantastic! After a delicious dinner at The Captain's Table we all went ghost crabbing on the beach. It's so much fun watching the kids capture the crabs ~ it's definitely a time filled with laughter and squeals of delight (and in my case, fear)! They were all safely released of course. As we were standing on the beach, the waves were coming in illuminated by plankton. It was a wondrous sight to see a glow in the dark beach!!

Today we stopped in at Hatteras Harbor Marina and took a walk around the pier.

Apple Uglies from Orange Blossom bakery for breakfast and a rainbow view! That combined with watching the sunrise on the beach was the perfect start to the day!

We gathered by the ocean with family and friends to watch the sunrise ~ oh, what a glorious way to start the day!!

OBX 2016 - Tonight's Sunset
It doesn't get much prettier than this! It was cloudy most of the day, but the sun burst through the clouds to reveal a breathtaking sunset! We saw a rainbow/iridescent cloud, too! It was so close to the sunset, it wouldn't photograph. That's another off the bucket list! #seriouslynofilter
