Last Day Of 4th Grade Banner For Griffin

We are a first year homeschool family ~ Friday will be our son's last day of 4th grade. I decided to surprise him with a banner to wake up to on the last day. Our guy worked very hard to finish an entire year's curriculum since January! We are proud of all he accomplished! I can't believe we have a rising 5th grader! This banner is completely print and cut ~ I used an amazing letter/panel font, offset it, printed it and then cut it. It took me only about 20 minutes to make it!

We are going camping down the road at our friends' farm. Griffin and his friends made a sign for 'Camp Gill'. They made the entire sign all by themselves.

It's The Little Things.

Last night when I was walking I enjoyed seeing the flowers blooming and smelling the sweet fragrance around the track. You've heard the familiar saying 'stop and smell the flowers' ~ I did just that. However, beauty can be found in the most unexpected places. I looked down to see this raindrop covered leaf. The simple beauty of God's design struck me. There is truly beauty all around us. My goal is to slow down and notice it!

Awana End Of Year Awards Night.

It was family night at Awana last night. Griffin is shown here with his class and his amazing teacher, Mrs. Kim. I'm so grateful for Kim! The time, energy and love she puts in to each class to teach our children is incredible. With her guidance, we have seen Griffin grow significantly in his Faith. Thank you Kim for loving our kids and being an extraordinary role model.

Custom Pail & Cup For Landon.

Custom sand pail and matching cup for our friend Landon.

Purrrr.

I'm not sure who's purring louder Griffin or the cat! He would love to have a cat, but Daddy is allergic.

Homeschool Group - Making Goat Milk Cheese

We had such a good time at Homeschool Group! We enjoyed learning how to make cheese from goat milk at the Grubbs house. It was fascinating learning the process and changes the milk goes through to make different cheeses. This was an incredible, edible lesson! The kids made mozzarella and ricotta. Sarah also had fresh feta for us to enjoy.
