His Love Of Airplanes!

We took a Cub Scout day trip to Washington, DC yesterday and visited the Smithsonian ~ National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Smithsonian. It was truly a fun day. One of the best things about it is Griffin rediscovered his love of flight and airplanes. When we got back home last night he pulled out a box of his airplanes and recreated the museum, telling us a fun fact fact about each one.

Putting On The Full Armour Of God!

I heard Griffin rummaging up in his closet and asked him what he was doing ~ he was getting his armor on! This was the theme for the Kindgom Chronicles VBS, putting on the full armor of God ~ Helmet of Salvation, Breastplate of Righteousness, Belt of Truth, Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith and Shoes of Peace. Daddy helped him out a little with the helmet. =)

Cowgirl Cupcake Toppers For Leila!

My friend Audrey asked me to make pink & brown cupcake toppers for her daughter Leila's 4th birthday party.

Audrey made everything else herself ~ the banners, the décor and those super cute ponies made from pool noodles.

I was super excited to be a teeny, tiny little part of this beautifully planned and executed party!
