Since replacing our stove, Griffin and I have been baking up a storm! He asked if we could make emoji cupcakes ~ yes, these are based on 'that' emoji. HaHa! They are delicious, too!

Snow Sledding With Friends

We had a BLAST snow sledding with friends on the hills on the farm on our road.

Winter Storm Jonas - The Thaw Begins.

The blizzard is over and the sun was shining this morning! It was a beautiful morning and my sweet Oliver went for a short walk with me. I love capturing the 'after' of the storm. It's so still and quite in the morning and I loved seeing the sun peeking through the trees. The icicles reveal the thawing has truly began!

Missy Made It! - Ballroom Dancing Vinyl Decals

My friend Chel shared with me two beautiful gifts she made for family members. She ordered the ballroom dancing vinyl decals from me and added them to a champagne colored Christmas ball and green glass mason jar. They are LOVELY!!

Great Friends & Saltines.

You know you have great friends when you receive a text from them asking if we need anything because they are braving the white out conditions and are headed to the grocery store. The one and only thing we needed was saltines and they even dropped them by. My boys bundled up and met them at the bottom of the driveway ~ that was an adventure in itself.

Sledding With Neighbors On The Lane

We are incredibly blessed to have wonderful friends/neighbors on our lane. Today we gathered at the hill for snow sledding. It was literally blizzard like conditions - snowing, wet, windy and freezing. But, it was totally worth it!

When we were sledding with friends, the men built a fire in the snow. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen!
