It makes me happy our son finds beauty (or in his words coolness) in simple things. This portion of jagged ice captured his eye when he was thawing the chickens' water.

An absolute gift from God! A magnificent sunset ~ the colors were unbelievable! Just when you think it couldn't get any more breathtaking ~ it did!

Mike - He Can Make Anything!

He makes things like this look easy. But, the time and skill required to fabricate something like this and put it in place, is far from easy. I love watching him do things like this. So happy that Griffin's big Christmas present is almost finished.

Enjoyed a day outside with my men and two and four legged babies.

Hiking through our woods and down to our little creek is one of my favorite things to do. The beauty we discover in the smallest places is magnificent! God's creation is glorious to behold!

Helping Another ...

When we stopped by the park, Griffin was approached by a little boy asking him to help get his football out of the tree. It was wedged on a branch and wouldn't budge. Griffin worked and worked, shaking branches and after about 10 minutes, down it came. The look on both of their faces was priceless when it fell and the little one caught it.

Teaching Griffin To Weld

I really enjoy watching Mike when he is welding. And, tonight it was even more wonderful, because he taught Griffin! They are working on a project together and I can't wait to see how it turns out.
