Hands On Learning - Praying Mantis

For our family, one of the many rewards of homeschooling is Griffin's ability to learn by doing. Just a simple interaction with a praying mantis is a lesson he will remember. His discovery of the insect, the hands on interaction, the desire to capture and document with his iPad and then coming inside to discover the episode of Wild Kratts, taped today, was about the praying mantis. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience for our guy.
