She treated me to a wonderful day that included getting our hair styled, a pedicure and a manicure! It was so relaxing and soooo much fun!!
The only other time in my life that I've ever had fake nails is for my wedding. I really didn't want them ... but Tommy the nail guy talked me into them. He said to me "me put real flower on your nails" ... literally ... that's what he did too! After putting them on and painting them, he put a tiny little real yellow flower on each of my ring nails. They are very pretty.
Griffin has never seen me with painted fingers and toes ... it was pretty funny when we came into the house, he noticed them immediately!! He said "me want paint and flowers" and held out his hands. It was HILARIOUS!! Mike went on to share with him that boys do not do that. LOL!!
What a wonderful Mother's Day gift from my sweet mother-in-law.

you DO know that most people consider California as "Granola Land"----fruits, nuts and a whole bunch of flakes!!!!?----but HEY we DO HAVE chopped broccoli. (ha ha)

Funny you talk about getting mani's & pedi's..I took Izabelle to get a mani today(her 11th birthday is tomorrow)..it was her first time:) She got a big kick out of it!

Doesn't having pretty nails make you feel so girly? I've been getting mine done for awhile now and I just feel soooo good when they are done. Nothing like being pampered. Glad Bett's there to get you out to do girly things. LOL.
