This time it involved recognizing words that happened to be colors.
First he had to figure out the correct word to go with each letter represented on the rainbow from the word bank. Then he had to write the word in the correct spot.
And then his favorite part of course is coloring the rainbow when he was finished writing the words.
He is working on his writing. Trying to figure out which side of the letter the line goes on is something he's really focusing on. The letters a, b, d, p, and q can be a bit confusing for a little guy.
But ... practice makes perfect and we will continue to practice, practice, practice!

So cute. Sam still mixes up her b & d. I tried to teach her the bed method. the b is the head board and the d is the footboard and the word looks like a bed when written out. Did that sound really stupid? Hope that made sense. lol
Wendy's bed method is really neat. I'll have to put that in the back of my mind because I'm sure Layla will have problems. Griffin seems to be writing pretty good and his coloring???? He may be a world reknowed artist some day. He has such fun homework.
