Fun With Friends.

We had a playdate at our house yesterday ...

Our friends Kristen, Patrick, Matthew, Keisha, Damian & Darius were here to enjoy the summer sun with us.

Here we find the boys enjoying a yummy lunch of grilled hotdogs & hamburgers, delicious veggies and mouth watering watermelon.

After lunch it was time for some splashing around in the little pool ...

This is sooo much fun and soooo refreshing!

Today was the last day of school ... so Damian (Keisha's oldest son) was able to join us after the last bell rang. He's such a delightful young man ... soon to be 16 years old and he will be entering the 11th grade this fall. We were SO happy he could join us!

And sweet faced Darius ... enjoying his cold popsicle while sliding down the slide.

And of course we had to get the sprinkler going ...

I think this is the CUTEST picture of Matthew ... he's growing so fast!!

Today we will enjoy the "big pool" at the Y ... I am soooo looking forward to that!!!

great pics. My parents recognizing I was a natural "water dog", (any body of water, be in a mud puddle, creek, or lake I would get in it) signed me up at the local Gary Indiana YMCA and taught me how to swim, (well how to dog paddle, and how to float, and not panic in water ) (I was in 1st grade, another fun memory from 1943-44----that was also the summer I got to watch Frank Sinatra go bye in a motorcade---and I began to become conscious of music on the radio)
