4.11.14 - Bella's Beach Bash Birthday Party

It was so much fun creating the party items for 'Bella's Beach Bash'!

It included a custom party banner with bathing suit (swim suit), crab, flip flop and beach ball panel

It was fun detailing each panel of the banner

It was bright and colorful!

The details included pearls and tulle

The custom favor tags were tied to a sand bucket

Paper Sprinkles Confetti was created to match!

And then I added sprinkles of crabs, sea horses and sand dollars

4.5.14 - Madi's Minnie Birthday Banner

Madi will celebrate her 1st birthday today with a Minnie themed party! Custom banner, cupcake toppers and confetti by Missy Made It! It gave me great joy to design this set for Madi because around this time last year I made a baby shower set to welcome this little one into the world!

I was delighted to make custom 'confetti sprinkles' for use in a table display of the GFWC Goochland Woman's Club 50th Anniversary Cookbook—50 Cheers. A little while back I purchased a copy from a friend and I recommend this cookbook to everyone ~ it is terrific! You can pick up your copy at Tweed in Short Pump or Courthouse Pizza & Market in Goochland!

Our friend Elizabeth Gill celebrated her 18th birthday party with a 'Masquerade Bash' planned by our friend Ashley Duke. I had the honor of designing some of the party elements and was tickled to help stage for the event. Everything came together beautifully ~ the incredible cake + cupcakes by Karen of The Cupcakery of Richmond, the thoughtful + gorgeous decor, tablescapes and photobooth by Ashley and all the other party elements embraced each other to become a super fun event for this special girl.

My first banner of 2017! I made this banner for a friend hosting a baby shower. The cream and blush pink she chose made a sweet and charming color combination. I added elements of dimension to every other layer and finished it with an embellishment of pearls.

A few months later in preparing for wedding photographs, my friend Ashley (of Faith Photography) asked me to make a matching 'Wedding Date Banner' + 'Mr & Mrs Banner'.

Oh how I loved making banners for both occasions as this beautiful couple walked down the path to their new life together
