Glave Family Fun ~ A Night Out!

It was a nice surprise Mike was able to come home early from his out of town trip. We went to Yu's China Bistro for dinner, and it was delicious!

The boys wanted to walk around after dinner, so we decided to go to Cabela's. I love that store. Mike and Griffin decided to check out the antique guns in the Gun Library ~ so they are now recognized as 'The Librarians'. I told them I would like to have the pink gun for Christmas.

And, just before we left, we ran into this guy ~ I had no idea Santa works at Cabela's!

Griffin's Workship ~ The Christmas Season

We have had a great visit with Betty & Tony ~ we've had fun and it's been nice having them here this week. We missed Mike being with us because he had to be OOT this week. I wonder if we could sneak into their suitcases and go home to Florida with them?

Gifts From Griffin

Today I'm working to get our gifts wrapped and the Christmas tree decorated. As I am organizing, I came upon the bag of gifts Griffin 'bought' for our family at the Awana Christmas store, at our church. My heart is full knowing how he took the time to select just the right gift for each of us ~ he even chose one for his iguana, Jalapeña. Seeing these gifts brings me such JOY! I can hardly wait until Christmas to open my gift!

Headlamps & Chores

When it's freezing and dark out, and you have chores to do ~ you bundle up, put your head lamps on and work together to get back inside as soon as you can, to warm up by the fire!
