Hike To Spy Rock With Youth Group

Griffin went on a hike to Spy Rock today with the youth group. Located in the George Washington National Forest, it is recognized as having one of the best views in Virginia. A beautiful October afternoon was the perfect time to capture Megan's photographs. My friend and photography assistant Simone and I traveled to King & Queen County to meet Megan on her farm. The kids packed for the Brown Bag Ministry tonight. This is a wonderful ministry that allows kids to help kids.

I am very #blessed to be his Mom and I know this guy will be a wonderful husband and father someday. Mike and I pray for the young lady God has chosen for our son, because He already knows who she is.

Tuesday - Chicken & Dumplings

It is Tuesday night ~ that means it is Griffin's night to cook! Tonight he made Miss Judy's Crockpot Chicken & Dumplings. They were delicious!

A Beautiful Fall Saturday - Filled With Fun, Family & Friends!

Fun family day! We enjoyed quite a busy Saturday filled with family, friends and fun! We started the day when Griffin played two songs in his first live performance at Manakin Market. That's him with his awesome piano teacher, Jesse Spencer! He enjoyed playing checkers with a new friend at the farmer's market, too. We stopped by the book store, had lunch at Sonic and ended up at the party store. What a great morning!

In the afternoon he attended our friend Taylor's birthday party. In the evening we enjoyed a nice family dinner at Red Lobster.
