Our neighbors Devin + Mike welcomed a new baby boy into the world!

My friend Debbie's niece opened a new business '4 The Love Of Dogs' Dog Grooming. She asked me to make a banner for her to celebrate the opening of her new business.

3/7/13 - It's A Girl Baby Shower ~ Blue Birds & Butterflies

A local friend asked me to create custom party goods for a baby shower she is hosting for a friend

The theme is blue birds and butterflies. She asked me to use the colors lavendar, purple and pink.

Since it's a baby girl and the name is currently unknown she wanted to use the phrase "It's A Girl"

3/7/13 - Wedding Banner ~ Timing Is Everything

My photographer friend Ashley of Faith Photography asked me to create a banner for an upcoming wedding she will be doing. It's the first time I will use my new Silhouette to make a banner!
She asked me to to keep it simple using the wedding couple's colors of dark purple and light grey.
This banner was created with the phrase that describes their love story.


I was delighted it will be used in some of the wedding pictures ~ it's my first wedding! ♥

Our friend Jack & Kara celebrated their birthday and invited our family.

Happy Fall Sunflowr Banner

Making this sunflower themed 'Happy Fall' banner was incredibly fun to make. I actually made it using papers I've had in my collection for more than 15 years. It is made with multiple layers of paper and the sunflowers are paper pieced and the petals are raised to give it a 3-D effect.

I listed this banner in my Etsy shop as a 'one of a kind' and it sold very quickly.

2/22/13 - Connor Turns 1 ~ Dinosaur Theme & Banner

My friend Teresa's grandson Connor celebrated his first birthday with a dinosaur themed party!

I made this custom birthday party set for him ~ it includes a custom banner, cupcake toppers and confetti. To keep with their theme I was able to pull the image from the plates they had chosen for the party. =)

2/21/13 - Jack's Birthday ~ Guitar Themed Banner

A Mom from my son's school contacted me about a banner for her son Jack's 9th birthday. He was going to get a guitar for his birthday and she wanted me to create one with a guitar theme.

Stephanie's Sweet 16 Banner ~ Tiffany Blue + Silver

Stephanie's mother asked me to make a 'Sweet 16' birthday banner for her birthday party

The color theme was tiffany blue and silver. She gave me creative freedom to design the banner. It was really a lot of fun designing this for Stephanie.

Lylah celebrated her first birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed party! The colors included hot pink and zebra print!

Cupcake Toppers For Azaliah!

Azaliah's mother ordered some of my 'Minnie' Sprinkles from my Etsy shop. She used them as confetti and also made cupcake toppers with them

I received an email from her to let me know Azaliah's birthday party had been featured on 'Hostess with the Mostess' including the items I made for her! How cool is that?!

01/01/13 - Baby Shower ~ Baby Sister For Zoey & Sophie

My friend Courtney was hosting a baby shower for a friend.

She was using a rubber ducky theme and asked me to use pinks and purples. She had a wonderful idea to include the two "big" sisters on the banner. I also created cupcake toppers and confetti for the shower.

01/25/13 - My Brother Hut Turns 55!

My brother Hut turned 55 and retired from his job within the same week.

My sister-in-law Bonnie wanted to do something special for him so we decided to go with a University of Alabama (Roll Tide ~ Bama) themed party set because he is such a die hard fan!
