Teaching Him To Swing.

Griffin loves playing on "Fort Griffin" ... his playset.

We spend hours and hours (and hours!) outside.

I am trying to teach him how to swing himself. I've pushed him in that swing so many times I sometimes dream about it ... LOL.

He gets that he has to put his feet out and then in and out and then in ... but of course he still prefers to be pushed.

Here he's goofing around ... he's tired of "doing it myself" and wants me to push him.

I truly do not mind pushing him. It gives us some sweet time together ... and most times he ends up singing to me. Singing for your swinging ... now that's a new concept.

Time together is great. I used to scratch backs. That was how I could say what I want. Wait until he is a teenager.

I use to swing Mark for hours. Those where the best time and I didn't even know it, WOW time flies. It's hard to teach someone to swing, you think it just comes naturally but no, in an dout in and out.... Fun fun Fun

When he really gets that hang of it, you won't have to push him anymore. Hopefully he'll still sing for you. I think it's great that he likes to sing. I still love to swing and believe it or not, whenever Wade is here and we want to swing, he will swing with me. He never out grew it. Still gives us special time together. Scotty, not so much.

I'm just catching up on blogs, and I want to say "Happy Anniversary"! I enjoyed looking at the pictures. These are cute ones of Griffin on the swing too. It's great when they learn how to do it themselves.

What a wonderful memory both of you will always have of that swing and the time spent there. You pushing and Griffin singing. I'd push him for a song. How wonderful that he sings! I hope that he gets to sing in school.
