The Blueridge Parkway In The Fall

It's no secret, fall is my favorite season! On our drive back home from our overnight stay in Fishersville, we took in all of the beautiful colors of fall. We stopped at an overlook on the Blueridge Parkway to take it all in.

Virginia Safari Park

Mike was working in Fishersville for a few days so Griffin and I decided to visit with him for an overnight stay, Griffin asked a friend to come along with us. Since we were so close, we decided to visit the Virginia Safari Park. It's a beautiful drive through park with lots of unique animals. There is also a zoo where you can feed giraffes and get up close to numerous other animals.

We had the opportunity to join Mike in Fishersville for an overnight stay. Tonight we decided to drive over and visit the Cyrus McCormick Farm.

Library Day & Bella's

Today is library day ~ and we decided to have lunch at a favorite place. A bright spot was seeing our sweet friend Katie.

Volunteering & Then Time To Have Fun!

The Goochland County Parks & Recreation Fall Festival (on Halloween) offered us a fun opportunity to volunteer and then play. Our church members volunteered at the event with the games. After our volunteer time was over, Griffin really enjoyed jumping on this trapeze trampoline.

I was happy to make a couple of vinyl decals for my friends Skylar & Jessie ~ the 'Jeep hand' on the mirror and 'This End Up' on the roof rack. That's Skylar adding them to Jessie's Jeep.
