I'm so excited ...
I have created a Facebook page for Missy Made It! on Facebook.
It's going to be a fun way to keep in contact with my friends and customers. They call it a "fan" page ... that just makes me giggle ... it's a friends page to me!
I will be announcing new items, discounts and freebies right there on my Missy Made It! Facebook page.
If you are interested in joining all you have to do is click on the little link on the right side of my blog. It's right underneath my profile.
I would love it if you would join.
So ... about my blog colors ... I just wasn't feeling the purple. I'm not a purply kind of girl. I know so many of you love purple ... but it just wasn't me. I like the louder, brighter colors. Do you think the colors I've chosen this time around are more "me"?
I'll be back on Monday ...
We had a great time a the pool yesterday.
The weather was perfect ... overcast and a little cooler than it's been.
Griffin had a good time playing with some friends and I had a nice time talking to some other mommies.

He is such a natural in the water. He loves to swim.
His favorite thing these days is when I throw things under the water for him and he goes to retrieve them.
My baby is growing up. Really, no longer a baby. He's a boy. A full of life, sweet, kind, funny, active boy.
I'm so lucky.
I've been a pretty inconsistant blogger lately. I'm going to do better ... I promise.
This week we've had some fun with friends.
Monday we met our neighbors/good friends Melinda and Grayson at Kangaroo Jac's. The boys had such a good time bouncing around and playing the games. I didn't take one picture. I was too busy catching up with Melinda and just enjoying our time together.
Tuesday we met our friends Kristen, Patrick and Matthew at the Children's Museum. When the boys get there, they have their own ideas of what they want to do, so we didn't "see" them very much. But it was so nice to be there together.

Here we have Griffin, Matthew and Patrick as we are leaving. Griffin was so tired. He fell asleep on the way home and took a 3 hour nap. Of course that meant he didn't go to sleep until 10:00 pm that night.
Wednesday we stayed home. Griffin wanted to play Playdoh and tractors as soon as he woke up. From there I gave him two huge bowls of water and he played with his boats. A bit of outside play ... watching some favorite shows ... we had a nice relaxing day at home.
Today we are going swimming ... that should be fun as usual. We will pack a lunch and enjoying the sunshine for a few hours today.
The summer is quickly closing in on us. Griffin starts back to school on September 8th so we are making the most of our days with some fun activities.
Enjoy your Thursday!
Do you like the purple?
Yes?
No?
