Oh ... What Fun!

We had a wonderful Sunday filled with family, friends, good food, spirits, snacks and presents!

As I was standing there in the kitchen surrounded by fun, festive folks ... I realized this is what I needed. It was sooooo much fun!

Me, Mike, Griffin and Bett ...

Although I had everything on hand for a scrumptious dinner, I really did not plan for "snacks". I don't know what I was thinking. Well, leave it to Bett and Judy to be able to rummage through the cabinets and refrigerator and create a party from things we had on hand.

Judy, Fred and Tanya came bearing a gift package for Griffin bigger than he was ... look what was inside ... an awesome monster truck!

It took tools to remove the monster truck from the packaging. Can you believe they screwed it to the box with 12 screws??

It sometimes takes Griffin a little while to warm up to people he hasn't seen in awhile. It took a little while, but soon after their arrival he was all over Tanya!

And he LOVES Fred and Judy so much ... as do we!

Luckily, Bett will be with us for another week. Fred, Judy and Tanya are now on their way to Boston. We will them a fun and safe trip.

  4. its amazing what one can do for snacks, if one has any creativity at all, although mainly all ya really need is to be hungry (lol)---wanted popcorn the other night, but didn't have any---voila!! a bowl of cheerios saved the day. (and they are good for your heart too----yeah they are!!)
