Computer Talk.

This is a scene I walked in on the other day ...

Mike was back to work at home and had his laptop on the kitchen island. The next thing I knew Griffin had his Lightning McQueen laptop up there working right along side Daddy. It was the cutest thing.

And now ... how about I share a couple of my new favorite paper piecings?

This is almost exactly like the one I shared the other day ... the one inspired by my dear friend Andi. This time I made one to post in
MY EBAY LISTINGS. As most of you know ... I'm a big fan of owls lately. I don't know what it is about them ... maybe they remind me of my childhood or something. I had alot of fun creating this one!

And I'm always *so* happy when I'm inspired to create something brand new. It's been really cold here lately ... and I was inspired to create this brand new Brrr Tear Bear Basket thanks to the cold weather! When I'm making stuff, I like the grungy, well worn look ... so with this one the snowflake/snowballs are well grungy'd up and a little worn looking. This one can also be found in
MY EBAY LISTINGS

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

  3. Now don't you know that Mike is so proud to have his little guy working right along beside him! That is just too cute!!! Griffin wants to do what Daddy does.

Love your new paper piecings Missy. You're so creative and talented. I just adore the little owl. I seem to have developed a particular fondness for them lately too.

  8. I left a message earlier and I don't know where it is....that happened to me the other day too. I love that pic of Mike and Griffin. It's funny how boys will mimic Dad. My boys loved going to the stadium and working with Jerome. And your owl is soooo cute. You are so talented. I wish I was 1/2 as talented as you and Cecile.

Another great picture, Missy. I don't think you realize what a good photographer you are. You have an eye for just the right picture whether it's people or trees or clouds.
