I wasn't sure if he would know what it was ... but he knew right away it was a manifying glass.
He is a big fan of Sid the Science Kid and Sid often uses a magnifying glass to discover new things.
Here we find Griffin checking out the berries on the nandina ...
How about a closer look at those berries ...
And wow ... he could even check out the sky with his magnifying glass.
I have to say ... this is a GREAT gift idea for a child.
It allows his emagination to run free ...

I agree. What an awesome idea especially for a boy. I hope he will have lots of fun as he explores the world in a 'bigger way'.

ReplyDeletenow I must say tooo, tooo cute... I just think that is a great gift.... This summer it will be time for those cute little bug collectors.... I'm sure he will love that.... I'm thinking JoAnn had them last spring and I so wanted to buy one for myself... That was always a fun toy for me as a kid... And heck my dad even had to build me a cricket farm.. You know me though I love little creatures... Always have.... T

What a great gift. And Griffin is really enjoying it. He will have lots of fun with it this spring as things start popping out of the ground (and with those icky bugs).
