First Horse Ride.

Griffin rode a horse for the first time on Saturday at Chesterfield Berry Farm.

He absolutely LOVED it! I thought he might be scared ... but he wasn't at all.

Here's a few pictures of this very fun adventure.

There are several horse farms around the area in which we live. I'm seriously considering checking on riding lessons for Griffin. Thoughts on this?

And a little side note ... I have two very sick boys here with me today. Not only is Griffin sick with an ear infection & bronchial infection, apparently he hurt his foot overnight somehow in his bed. He's just plain pitiful this morning. And Mike is sick too. He actually called in sick to work today ... he never does that. He has the flu with all-over body aches and he just feels terrible. I'm a wee-bit sick myself ... but nothing like Mike and Griffin. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that I stay well enough to take care of both of them.

Griffin looks so thrilled on the horse. I say "Go for it" on the lessons,if the instructors think he's old enough. And I'm so sorry everyone is sick. Hope everyone gets to feeling better. We love you.

  2. 3 Word for you:

Advice on riding lessons: I would just ask what the starting ages is for lessons, it may be that he is just the right age or he may have to wait a bit.

  3. I say "Go for it" also. It looks like he really enjoys it. If you start him young he will never be afraid. He is the cutest thing. How could you say NO.
