THAT cry.

THAT cry.

You know each child has it ...

It's not the wah-wah I just want to make noise cry.

It's not the waaaaaaaaaaah I'm throwing a tantrum cry.

It's THAT cry ...
The one we as parents recognize when our child needs us.
REALLY needs us.

Griffin just had THAT cry.

He likes to turn the rocking ottoman over to rock back and forth while watching Sesame Street ... his finger got stuck in between the rocking section and the side.

He yelled THAT cry ...
I came running ...
Then a few magic Mommy kisses ...
And now all is right with the world again.

    Poor little guy...
    Ouch. Gracie got her finger shut in her dresser drawer today and boy did that hurt! All the way up to her shoulder she said! Hit that nerve...oooh. BUt all better now!

    That cry when you know they are hurt...yup I've heard that one more than once myself. Scary when THAT cry involves open wounds ICK or broken bones ICK ICK

  6. Yes, I definitely know that cry! It usually follows what I like to call "the silent cry" - the one where they're making that "cry" face but no sound is coming out for several seconds?? Then, BOOM! You know what's coming.
