Piano Player.

I wish I could bottle the excitement he is feeling today about his piano lesson. He is on the final song in book two and he can hardly wait to move on to the next. Truthfully, I don't think I have ever seen him this excited about anything. Ever. I'm so thankful for his incredible piano teacher.

Science Museum of Virginia & The Train Show!

We spent the afternoon at the Science Museum! We enjoyed it all ~ the train show, the Clydesdale horses, rat basketball, animal lab, Boost, and Speed! It was a really great day!

Lesson In Economics

It was a lesson in economics today as Griffin inventoried ornaments for Griffin's Workshop orders. We also had a good discussion about marketing and supply and demand.

Banner For Bett & Tony's 70th Birthday Celebration

My inlaws will both be celebrating their 70th birthday when we are in Florida for Thanksgiving. I made this banner for their celebration.

A Fun Tuesday Afternoon

Had a beautiful afternoon with these two young men. First, lunch and chess at Short Pump Towne Center. And then, it was an honor and privilege to be with these two as they filled Operation Christmas Child Boxes. Then, a trip by the craft store and Griffin selected Christmas ornaments he will be personalizing and have available in Griffin's Workshop. And finally a stop by Gelati Celesti for a special treat!

Mom Of A Country Boy

You know you are the Mom of a country boy when you come back to the car to find this on your dashboard and it doesn't phase you one bit. Actually, the words from my mouth were, "oh, where did the snake skin come from.". I think Griffin and his friend Christian were trying to scare me.

Griffin's Workshop - Santa Cam Christmas Ornament

Griffin will be joining his Dad and a group of missionaries on a mission trip in the summer of 2017. He will be making crafts and doing other projects go to toward the monetary needs of the trip.

With that in mind, he will be offering handmade crafts! We are excited to share with you the first handmade craft Griffin will be offering this year!
