Making Paper Boats!

After the movie Griffin and Branden decided to make boats. They had excellent ideas and then wanted to see how their engineered designs would hold up in water. They were very clever in their designs and the boats were sea worthy ~ who knew a dryer sheet could make such a great sail!

Move Time ~ Jurassic World!

Today Griffin, Branden and I went to see Jurassic World. It was a terrific movie and the boys had a really good time!

Zoo Pro Adventures ~ Goochland Library

The kids enjoyed the 'Zoo Pro Adventures' program at the Goochland Library. We saw lots of familiar faces and I grabbed a few pics of our friends.

Rose Hill Mission Trip.

This past week, our family was incredibly blessed to be part of the Rose Hill Mission Team. We saw God working in mighty ways in the community in which we were served. We laughed. We cried. And, we rejoiced in the Lord. It was an absolute priviledge to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Rose Hill this week.

Rose Hill Mission Trip - The Pinnacle

We are on the Rose Hill Mission Trip. Today we worked in the morning and took some time for a visit to the Pinnacle before heading back to the church this evening for VBS. The Pinnacle is a neat stopping point at the top of the mountain. The area we are in is half in Kentucky and half in Virginia. It was a really neat place to visit with the kids!

Rose Hill Mission Trip

Today our church and two others gathered together to leave for Rose Hill, VA on a mission trip to help the local community with building efforts and the food pantry and clothes closet at a local church. We are looking forward and praying about how God will use us as his hands and feet in this endeavor. It is the first mission trip for both Griffin and me.

Homeschool Convention & Dinner After

Today was our first visit to the Homeschool Convention is Richmond. To say it was a bit overwhelming is an understatement. There is so much to see and learn about. After the convention we joined the Gill family at the Chinese buffet. Good times.

Gymnastics At River City

Its been a great year in gymnastics! Coach Travis has been wonderful ~ he expects a lot from his team and he works them hard. He is also incredibly encouraging and I've noted a huge growth in G's self confidence!
